ARMIER BAY
The beach is surrouned by small farm fields and one can still see a number of metal windmills used to pump underground water for irrigation purposes. A tour boat (a Maltese "Luzzu" - those seaworthy colourful Maltese fishing boats) usually operates from this beach. Parking is usually plentiful here but it always help to get there early. There's another small beach located just north of Armier Bay. You can drive to it by heading north on the main road, but you can also walk to it from Armier Bay. The beach is located at White Tower Bay, which gets its name from a white tower located on the north side of the bay.
